Article Submission Guidelines 

Ramona is run by a small, dedicated team of volunteers, who aim to provide opportunities for young writers and creatives. We publish interviews, personal essays, researched articles, thought columns, art, music features, and reviews. We’re looking for pieces by enthusiastic contributors who produce innovative content and are seeking a place to grow creatively and develop their voice.

We publish articles on a range of topics, with the aim to share experiences and learn from each other. We love to see writers share their stories with authenticity to their experiences and their voice. We welcome submissions from writers all over the world, but as we are proudly Naarm/Melbourne-based we prioritise submissions from Australians.

If you think you have an idea that fits Ramona’s vibe, send us an email to with ‘Ramona Submission’ and the title of your article in the subject line.

If you have one, attach a draft of your article to the email as a Google Doc or Word document. If you don’t have a draft, please include a writing sample or a link to your writing.
