Elizabeth Barlow

Elizabeth Barlow is a contemporary still-life painter based on California’s Monterey Peninsula, known for her luminous, large-scale floral portraits that explore themes of fragility, resilience, and presence. Raised in Salt Lake City in a family of artists, she is the daughter of painter Philip Barlow and was immersed in art and nature from an early age. Barlow holds degrees from the University of Utah and the University of Virginia, and she continued her training at UC Berkeley Extension and the Art Students League of New York. Her work has been exhibited widely and is held in collections including the Monterey Museum of Art and the San Francisco Opera.
