I am Lucy, a multidisciplinary artist based in London. “Blossom” is an ode to a time of wonder, signifying positivity, happiness, and grace. I am an adamant believer of breaking boundaries and stepping outside the box in what it means to be a photographer. Incorporating both fashion and fine-art techniques, the use of digital collaging further enhances enigma, uplifting the models and their aura.
My work process all stems from self-expression — to be inspired by what is around me, as well as mind-frame, all documented through a camera. Storytelling, to also uplift others, I envisioned a playful and fantasy-filled body of work. With specific designs not set in stone, I find serendipity and vision when layering my images. I dive into a rabbit hole of possibility in artistry. I have databases and loads of collage material; these can be both by hand and digitally. To me, a photograph is the basis in which you create your art, accentuated through craft.
