As the pandemic disrupted the music industry, singer-songwriter Ruel was hitting his stride. After a slew of strong EP offerings, Ruel has announced his debut album 4th Wall – out March 3rd with an accompanying headline tour kicking off in April.
A long time coming, the London-born Sydneysider began stealing hearts with his unique voice at the age of 16. Since the 2018 release of ‘Ready’, Ruel’s ‘Free Time’ and ‘Bright Lights, Red Eyes’ have highlighted his uncanny ability to articulate the complexities of adolescence. Some of Ramona’s favourite tracks showcase different facets of his artistry. While ‘Growing Up Is ___’ dives deep into the relatable hardship of your teenage years, latest single ‘Must Be Nice’ is a heartbreaking memoir of unrequited feelings and a disparate reaction to a breakup.

Somewhat inspired by the Truman Show, 4th Wall aims to express his experiences growing up in the limbo between global success and traversing a normal life. Now at the age of 20, Ruel’s Australian tour features his first solo arena show in Sydney. Including 5 of his iconic singles, the 14 track album has fans excited for a rollercoaster of emotions.
