RUBY’S MONTHLY PLAYLIST: Cosmic moon landing

Writing by Ruby Jones // Illustration by Freya Bennett // Ruby Jones returns with a playlist perfect for your inner space cowgirl— a selection of songs to celebrate the 50th anniversary of humans landing on the moon. Listen to these under the stars.

Dear Readers,

50 years ago humans first voyaged into the cosmos and walked upon the surface of the moon, to pay tribute to this I have made the ultimate spaced out mix tape. Perfect for stargazing, moon bathing, astral travelling or just contemplating in the infinite nature of time and space. In the words of one of my favourite writers and thinkers Carl Sagan “We’re made of star-stuff. We are a way for the cosmos to know itself” – I hope in some way I hope this collection of songs can help you do just that.

See you on the dark side of the moon,

Ruby xo
