Interview of Ella by Zadie McCracken

Hi Ella! How are you?

I’m doing okay, tired. But I’m always tired.

What was your favourite thing about Period Witches

Learning about the different stages of my cycle. It’s insane how little I knew about my own body!

The thing I loved most about Period Witches was the feeling of safety and comfort it had. What did you love the most about period witches?

I loved being around such AWESOME women, and I loved how welcoming the moderators were! I felt immediately comfortable, which was super important considering the subject matter.

What has Period Witches inspired you to do?

Embrace the certain stages in my cycle. For example, if I’m in “winter” and I just don’t want to see anyone, I’ll take some time to myself, make a tea and watch some Gilmore Girls.

How did you feel at the start of Period Witches?

Excited and nervous; excited because I was seeing a lot of lovely familiar faces, and nervous because I had no clue what I was getting into.

How did you feel at the end of Period Witches?

Inspired, warm and happy!

What would you say to people thinking about coming to the next period witches?

DO IT! GO! TRUST ME!
