After being sick

throwing up parts of me

over a white toilet seat

i reflect on how much love

for

dangling,

gangling,

limbs,

how much gratitude

for

stomach and liver

working hard to clean me out

to love me fully

and I recall

the miracle of my body

holding me all in

helping me up

making me

me

i’m alive

in my own walls

and that is magical
